Q: How do I add an event?
A: If you are a musician, first Register for an account by clicking on the Register link in the top navigation. Fill out the form and you will be emailed a confirmation. Once you are logged into your account, choose the date you wish to add an event to by clicking on the day shown on the small calendar on the right. You will see an "Add Event" link next to the days of the week. Click this link and fill in as much information as possible. Once you are done, save your event by clicking the button on the bottom of the add event page. If you are not a musician or valid representative of an act - do not post an event. Talk about your interests in the forum.

Q: How do I add a location?
A: You must be a Registered member to add a location - and - you must enter an event to be able to add a location. When adding a location, please fill out as much information as possible. Use the locations website, or do a yellow pages search for their address or directions if you don't know this already. When you add an event, you are enabling the location for other members to use so please spell check your entry and make sure all information is correct.

Q: What type of events can I add?
A: If you have legitimate upcoming show at a venue. Do not post any advertising for other events that do not have to do with a live performance (Meet the band at Froggy's on Tuesday for drinks). Entries such as this will be considered spam and will be deleted. Repeated spamming from a member will result in their account being canceled and their IP address, and/or act being banned from any future registration on both the event listings and the forum.

Q: I Registered to post events, do I have to set up a separate account for the forum?
A: Yes - the forum and the event listings are separate from each other and an account would have to be created for both (sorry).

Q: What are the images and links at the top of the page for?
A: If you are in a band or would like to gain more exposure, this space is reserved for paying advertisers. Click on the advertising link in the top navigation for more information.
